Monday Is Supposed to Be My Day to Reset…So Why Am I Already So Stressed! 😫

Monday’s can be an incredibly important day to reset, organize ourselves, and make real progress on our bigger picture intentions for our work and our lives. BUT..Lets’ be honest, for many of us the stress of a Monday already starts on Sunday night! By the end of the day on Monday it’s so easy to start falling back into habits that we don’t want to perpetuate even with our best intentions. Can anyone relate to having sugary treats, drinking wine or a beer, catching 1 or 5 shows to reset?!?! And Guess what…this is a normal occurrence backed by research which shows that our cortisol levels - a key hormone in response to stress is significantly higher on Mondays than it is on the weekends, which means physiologically - we have a major uphill battle!

In the class we’ll use mindfulness and gentle stretching movements that reset both your mind and your body. It also helps reduce your cortisol levels so you leave feeling more calm and centered!
